Guilin is a city in southern China known for its dramatic landscape of limestone Karsts, which form many caves and caverns. At its centre are 2 lakes, Cedar and Banyan, remaining from a Tang Dynasty moat that once surrounded the city. Boat tours travel through these and other lakes via connected rivers. On Cedar Lake’s shore, twin pagodas, the Sun and Moon, light up the sky at night. The population of the urban area of Guilin is over 1.3 million. The area is very popular with foreign tourists who flock here to see the wonderful scenery and especially the famous Li River and the Nan Mountains.   Take a look at where I live:
